A Ladies Guide on "How to get though Super Bowl Sunday".

Besides going to church and praying for the best team to win, which is exactly what my husband will be doing and praying that his team makes it to Super Bowl next year. I will enjoy the morning worship and ask God for peace and love during this time. Everyone knows that sports can a little much around this time of the year and fans can become over excited to the point they are fighting.. A bit much don't you think?

I am praying for peace and love over all the delicious foods that will be there. Hopefully no one will fight over my Super Bowl Buffalo Chicken dip. lol. This year I don't have to worry about hosting as my family and I were invited to our cousins for a Super Bowl party. So this guide is something I put together to get us Fashionistas  to enjoy this one time a year event when our significant others look so forward to.

Fashion First....
Just because you are invited to a party about sports doesn't mean you have to dress sporty. This is your time to shine, treat it like every other party. Be fashionable. So, push the sweats to the side and say Hello to a pair of jeans and some boots or heels and a nice top or if your honey is rooting on a specific team buy a shirt and make it your own. I love to lace up a shirt. Try cutting the side seams of the shirt right down the middle. Using a hole punch, make three or more deciding you desired style on each side of the slit. Finally lace a nice ribbon, lace, or anything you have through the holes and tie with a bow. You will be the talk amongst all the other women in attendance, and not in a bad way but, they will want you do hook them up too.

Snacks, Snacks, and more Snacks....
If you are on a diet moderation is the key, but if not and if you saved up your W.W. (Weightwatcher) points all week for this day remember there will be plenty of food to go around. Try a little of everything in different times of the party. Normal parties began at least 30 minutes to an hour before kick off. If you are asked to bring a dish, think of something out of the box. Something you are for sure everyone will enjoy and once again all the ladies will ask for the recipe.

OMG did you see that...
Commercials are sometimes the highlight of a Super Bowl party and so is Halftime. Remember during this time your "Boo" will ask you for either something to munch on or something to drink. Be very prepared. More is better in the situation. Load up his plate, that way once the game is back on you can enjoy your conversations with the ladies regarding how messed up it is that  Beyoncé' didn't do the Super Bowl "Halftime"  and Adele didn't do the "National Anthem". Try to take a mini note on who your "Boo" is talking about during the game.
As much as you have your hands full with everything else, he will enjoy some small talk after the game with you on the way home and knowing you weren't just there for your famous dish or how cool your outfit was but you were semi interested in the game.

Boys Drool...
Now if you are single and have no parties to attend this year. Host a Super Bowl party of your own. Invite a few of  your girlfriends. The best way to enjoy a good looking football player is around your girls. Food and drinks are a must and since you are single and this is your party, You can make a Signature drink.  Have fun activities for your girlfriends to do. So, after catching up, Play "Would you date an NFL player, and if so Who?" Then you can also talk about how ratchet the Halftime was or the commercials or who is this girl singing the National Anthem, and how your never heard of her before and how they should have had your favorite and how she would have killed it.lol

Overall try to have tons of fun and enjoy your Super Bowl party. It's not that bad. (smile)..
