36 and Fab Birthday week...

That time of the year has come and gone so.. it official I am a year older. WOW what a year!! Let me first say that the past few months were really a head knocker so many things had happen that I just wanted to crawl under a rock and stay there until my birthday, or maybe even longer. Once Nov 1 came around I decided to let all things be what they were and if they were to get any better they would on their own. So I came up for fresh air and took on the month. I let all my co-workers, family and friends.. I would be off from work so if there was anything they wanted to do the 19th would be best (since my birthday was 11/20 and I do not work EVER on my birthday) I told my husband the same.. I told him, he need to do something special for me, something I would not expect.  So, my work crew took me out to lunch and then my department celebrated my birthday (as you can see in the picture to the left) with cake and a balloon not to forget the cards.. so many cards. I was so grateful.
             On my birthday my kids gave me a card. What was so special about that is my 11yr old son purchased the card with his dad's money and picked it out himself. My 5yr old daughter is old enough to write her name and it was really nice. I felt very special.


I celebrated my birthday Nov 20th with good friends, my cousin and my sister and her friends at Applebee's for Karaoke, which was a blast by the way. I never thought I would have so much fun. Her and her friends did a few Rap songs like a crowd pleaser Humpy Hump by Digital Underground.. that got the restaurant at full attention. As well as  A Milli by Little Wayne, and my theme song - Conceited by Remy Ma. I was made fun of for having tea and soup during Happy Hour but.. someone spiked my drink with a Washington Apple Shot never found out who did.. lol but, it was good. (smile)


My husband did something special. He took me away for the entire weekend. From Friday to Sunday. You say what is so special about that well... Let me open the door to my world so you can see how special it is. We don't go away by ourselves.. we always take our children, which is never a problem because they are ours right?? Well sometimes it is necessary to take a break from the world you live to another world just for the weekend, and since the last time we did anything like that was for our Honeymoon (6yrs ago).. I know RIGHT..(so you mothers and fathers who get a break more than we do.. be GREATFUL!!) Any woo.. My husband took me to Atlantic City. So, he told me, were going to the Camden Aquarium which by what he told me looked wonderful at night.. I was like WHATEVER.. needless to say 7 exits past Camden he told me we were going to A.C. for the weekend. What a surprise. I love it when he takes time to plan an amazing birthday. We didn't shop we hung around the hotel, did a lot of Video Blogs lol (I know but its been a min we forgot how to let go and enjoy) We did so to the boardwalk and visited the Tropicana and Borgata, to play some of the casino games.

He made Reservations for Vic & Anthony's which by the way YUM.. great food and service. I wore a dress I purchased from a fellow blogger Garnerstyle and had my Hookedup - shape-wear that I had won from the same blog underneath. My sister did my hair with  Model Model Bundle Nude Fresh and offered me some neck jewelry. I felt amazing.

We also seen the Best Man Holiday.. what a movie.. like all the other reviews.. I laughed, I cried, and laughed some more.
